CIHE Campus Wins Two More Building Awards

CIHE's new campus has been awarded the GRAND AWARD in the Building Surveyor Awards 2019 (BSA 2019) and also chosen as the WINNER in the New Development Category.

BSA 2019 organised by Building Surveying Division of The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS - BSD) to enhance public recognition to Building Surveyors for their contribution in design, innovation, management, sustainability in Building Project Works. Building Surveyor Awards was first introduced in 2015 by HKIS - BSD with the following objectives:

• To provide recognition to preeminent projects with substantial contribution by Building Surveyors in the public and private sectors
• To commend the contribution of Building Surveyors
• To promote the expertise of Building Surveyors to the public
• To acclaim distinguished practices of Building Surveying

The Jury Panel Chairmen commented that "the complexity of the [CIHE] project calls for a truly expert building surveyor team which is undoubtedly recognised with the pleasing building created."  They added that the building "also catered the needs of the neighbouring community for religious and public events."  Having been in full operation since September 2017, the campus is a major step towards establishing of the Saint Francis University.
