The Government is exploring with the Nursing Council to regulate the Enrolled Nurse (General) training programme, students may be able to conduct practicum in Social Welfare Organizations (SWO) such as Residential Care Homes. Professor Eric CHAN, Dean of the School of Health Sciences, claims that the demand on Enrolled Nurse (General) of SWOs is increasing, and if the practicum hours in SWOs is approved, it would be able to arranged for students, and make them well prepared to provide service in SWOs.
