內地養老成趨勢 長者津貼應「過河」
Prof Alice CHONG Ming Lin, Felizberta Lo Padilla Tong School of Social Sciences was interviewed by Ta Kung Pao on the issue of elderly allowance. She mentioned that Hong Kong's living index and environmental restrictions have made it more difficult for the elderly to enjoy their old age in Hong Kong. In the Mainland, the living environment is more spacious and the living index is lower. It is recommended that the government is conducting a comprehensive review on how to help elderly people who have settled in the Mainland enjoy a peaceful retirement.
