Auxiliary Medical Service signs MoU with Saint Francis University to launch a series of academic and research collaborations

The Auxiliary Medical Service (AMS) and the Saint Francis University (SFU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on June 22 to officially launch a series of academic, youth development and research collaborations. These collaborations will involve activities such as medical and healthcare training, volunteer service, and life planning.

The MoU was signed by the Chief Staff Officer of the AMS, Mr WONG Ying Keung, and the Acting President of the SFU, Professor LO Tit Wing, and witnessed by the Under Secretary for Security, Mr CHEUK Hau Yip, PDSM, JP, and Vice-Chairperson of the University's Council, Rev. Joseph YIM.

Addressing the ceremony, Mr CHEUK said that the signing of the MoU signifies that the AMS and the SFU will further foster collaboration in different academic aspects, especially in the areas of nursing, physiotherapy and pharmaceutical dispensing, creating synergies to nurture more talents for Hong Kong.

Rev YIM said he believes the partnership between AMS and SFU represents a significant milestone in nurturing and cultivating talented individuals who will play a vital role in Hong Kong's growth, as well as the prosperity of the nation.

SFU and AMS signed a memorandum of understanding to officially launch a series of academic collaboration and programmes regarding youth nurturing and development. Rev. Joseph YIM said he hoped that through the partnership between the two parties, young people will have more opportunities to access information about different professional industries and explore various possibilities. Mr Michael Cheuk expressed his hope that the AMS and SFU will further foster collaboration in different academic aspects.
