14 Nov 2025

23 student volunteers from Saint Francis University (SFU) participated in the Caritas Charity Bazaar held in the Fa Hui Park on 9 November, taking part in hosting charity sale and booth game. Prof Stephen Y.L. CHEUNG, President of SFU, and Prof LO Tit Wing, Vice-President (Research and Development) of SFU, also attended the Bazaar. They joined the booth game and cheered for the students.

The booth game, which is a ball throwing game, was designed by the students based on Positive Psychology framework The PERMA™️ model. The game allows participants to experience elements of happiness, with a meaning of letting everyone stride forward on their journey towards pursuing happiness.

The materials, prizes and some charity sale items required for the booth were all sourced by the students. This event enabled them to put community participation into practice, unleash their creativity, and simultaneously share resources and achievements through collaboration.
