Continuous Learning: Embracing New Community Healthcare Challenges

19 Mar 2026
As a pioneer in advancing the realm of applied sciences, Saint Francis University values collaboration with its stakeholders and industry partners. This year, several distinguished community and industry leaders were invited to address the University's Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2025. Among them was Mr William Chui, Chief Pharmacist of the Hospital Authority. He stated at the address that pharmacists and dispensers play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficacy of patient medication, while also providing the public with accurate medication guidance and health management advice. With the development of the Community Pharmacy Scheme, the role of pharmacists and dispensers in primary healthcare is becoming increasingly significant. Alongside professional knowledge and skills, teamwork and adaptability are also essential. Looking ahead to greater technology adoption in the sector, he encouraged graduates to maintain their passion for learning and actively equip themselves to meet evolving societal needs.
