The President's op-ed article was published in HKET on 25 April 2026. Professor Cheung said these qualities can help young people overcome adversity and carve out their own paths amid rapid global change and economic uncertainty. He also emphasised that nurturing the younger generation should not focus solely on achievement and returns, but should also place importance on character building and social responsibility.
