Saint Francis University Appoints Mr Felix Leung Kang Wai as Vice-President (Academic and Quality Assurance)

Saint Francis University (SFU) is pleased to announce that Mr Felix Leung Kang Wai has been appointed as Vice-President (Academic and Quality Assurance), with effect from 15 July 2026.

Mr Leung has served in senior positions across the statutory accreditation sector and self-financing higher education institutions. He was formerly the Principal Registrar of the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications, Vice-President (Administration and Development) of Tung Wah College, Administrative Vice-President and Associate Academic Vice-President (Strategic Planning) of Hong Kong Shue Yan University, and Director of the Hong Kong Art School.

In his new role, Mr Leung will work closely with the President, senior management, academic leaders and colleagues across the University to strengthen academic governance, quality assurance, programme development, accreditation readiness and evidence-based enhancement. He joins the University at an important stage of its development as a University of Applied Sciences, bringing extensive senior leadership experience in quality assurance, accreditation, academic governance, institutional planning and post-secondary education development.

SFU also takes this opportunity to express the deepest appreciation to Dr Dennis Law for his invaluable contributions throughout the University's development, from the days of Caritas Francis Hsu College, through the establishment of Caritas Institute of Higher Education, and culminating in the successful attainment of university status.
