SFU's Senior Administrative and Academic Appointments

Saint Francis University (SFU) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Felix Leung King-wai as Vice-President (Academic and Quality Assurance) with effect from 15 July 2026, and Professor Lui Tai-lok as Professor in the School of Social Sciences with effect from 3 August 2026, further strengthening the University's governance and teaching and research capabilities.

Welcoming the new appointees, SFU President Professor Stephen Cheung Yan-leung said, "Mr Leung and Professor Lui are highly accomplished in the areas of institutional governance and the social sciences respectively. Their appointments will inject new momentum into the University and support SFU's long-term development as a University of Applied Sciences."
As Vice-President (Academic and Quality Assurance), Mr Felix Leung King-wai will lead SFU's work in academic governance, quality assurance and programme development, while coordinating preparations for relevant accreditation exercises, thereby reinforcing the University's academic foundation and development momentum.

In addition, Professor Lui Tai-lok, a renowned Hong Kong sociologist, has joined SFU as Professor in the School of Social Sciences. His research covers class, economic sociology, urban development and Hong Kong society. With the new academic year approaching, his appointment will help enhance SFU's teaching and research strengths in the social sciences, public policy and related disciplines.
