Saint Francis University (SFU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) to establish a strategic partnership in professional education, academic development, and industry collaboration.
The MOU was signed by Professor Stephen Cheung Yan-leung, President of SFU, and Ms Holly Porter, Executive Director of CII. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing professional standards and strengthening connections between academia and industry.
Under the MOU, SFU and CII will collaborate in three key areas: co-organising CPD seminars and academic programmes, engaging CII's professional expertise in programme and curriculum development, and pursuing accreditation arrangements that may enable eligible SFU graduates to obtain exemptions from relevant CII professional qualifications.
Through this partnership, SFU aims to further enrich its professional network, broaden learning opportunities, and support the development of industry-ready talent in response to evolving market needs.
