CIHE received a donation of HK$5 million from Wofoo Foundation in support of our general development, as well as two special projects – the Caritas Character Building – Wofoo Leadership Training Scheme and the Community Healthcare Centre. The roof garden on the 8th floor of the award-winning new campus was named after Dr Joseph Lee, GBS, OStJ, JP, chairman of the Foundation. On 26 October, 2018, a ceremony was held in honour of the donation and naming. Fr Joseph Yim Tak-lung, Chief Executive of Caritas Hong Kong, Prof Sophia Chan Siu-chee , JP, Secretary for Food and Health, and Prof John Leong Chi-yan, SBS, OBE, JP, Chairman of the Hospital Authority were amongst guests of the day.
