It was with our deepest sadness that Bishop Michael Yeung Ming-cheung, Chairperson of the Board of Governors of Caritas Institute of Higher Education (CIHE) and Caritas Bianchi College of Careers (CBCC), passed away in Canossa (Caritas) Hospital on 3 January 2019.
More than 200 CIHE & CBCC staff members and students, and Catholics attended the Requiem Mass held in CIHE Chapel on 4 January 2019 to pray for Bishop Yeung. Chaplain Fr Arturo De la Torre Guerrero and President Dr Kim Mak shared their memorable moments with Bishop Yeung.
Bishop Yeung had been appointed Supervisor of CIHE from 1992. As the Chairperson of Board of Governors, he made invaluable contributions in leading CIHE towards Saint Francis University, which will renew our commitment to develop his legacy.
