Industrial Partnership for Continuing Education (IPCE) programme is a series of free-of-charge webinars with the Chinese title "轉危為機 – 疫境增值", organized jointly by the Rita Tong Liu School of Business and Hospitality Management (SBHM) and the Career Centre.
As industry-focused and industry-friendly institutes with corporate responsibility and a passion to give back, CIHE hopes to use IPCE as a channel to suggest ways of facing adversity for businesses and employees who are affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. The main theme of the seminars is to provide the public audience with insights from distinguished practitioners of professions and hospitality industry, or owners of enterprises, about the impacts of COVID-19 on business survival and job security of individuals. In particular, the speakers will suggest the ways of how one can face adversity when crisis arises and how to prepare oneself for future development over the crises. For fresh university graduates or employees who are either being laid-off or forced to accept no-pay leave or reduced working hours, the seminars will provide advice on how they can make use of their time to create better opportunities in their future career development.
