Caritas Institute of Higher Education (CIHE) and Caritas Bianchi College of Careers (CBCC) are delighted to share the joy as the production team of the movie "A Light Never Goes Out" has been chosen to represent Hong Kong in the competition for the Best International Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards (Oscars).
Ms TSOI So-Man, Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Design at CBCC, was one of the screenwriters for this remarkable piece. The film, starring Sylvia CHANG, Simon YAM, Henick CHOU, and Cecilla CHOI, has received high acclaim.
It was the winner of the 5th First Feature Film Initiative (Professional Group) and has been nominated at the Tokyo International Film Festival, Hong Kong Asian Film Festival, and Taiwan Golden Horse Awards. Sylvia CHANG also received the Best Actress award at the 59th Golden Horse Awards for her performance in the film. The film has also been supported by Create HK and the Film Development Council.
