Saint Francis University (SFU) hosted the Holy Mass for the Beginning of Academic Year 25/26 on 10 September (Wed). The Mass was celebrated by Rev Martin IP, Chaplain of Hong Kong Federation of Catholic Students, and concelebrated by Rev Matthieu MASSON, Parish Priest of Saint Andrew's Parish, and Rev Arturo Arturo DE LA TORRE, Chaplain of SFU. Attendants included the SFU management team, staffs, students and the members of the public.
Prof LO Tit Wing, Acting President of SFU, highlighted that SFU achieved significant milestones over the past year, such as becoming a University of Applied Sciences and having Caritas Bianchi College of Careers (CBCC) as an Academic Unit. He also expressed gratitude to the government of granting a site in Shatin for the development of new campus. The SFU Choir was also established and has organised various student activities.
Prof LO hoped that SFU will continue to receive support from various sectors, with the dedication of teachers and staffs, more talented individuals can be nurtured to contribute to society and the nation.
