This research project, conducted from January to May 2024, reviews literature to develop a Child Safeguarding Standards and Award Programme Protocol. It encompasses Plan International's Child Safeguarding Policy Framework and indicators, along with local and international experiences in Child Safeguarding Policy award/accreditation programs. The review also examines methodologies for independent audits of governance in educational institutions. The project aims to create a model for child safeguarding standards. The research employs a mixed-methods approach involving document analysis and triangulation to ensure comprehensive findings. The final report includes an executive summary, background, objectives, methods, limitations, findings, analysis, conclusions, and recommendations. The outcome is a suggested model for a Child Safeguarding Standards and Award Programme Protocol.
