Introduction
The Planning Office is established to enhance the quality of the annual operational planning of the academic schools and the relevant administration support units, and integrate reviews of data/evidence collection processes across the Institute to improve the quality of decisions and effectiveness of activities that support academic delivery.
The responsibilities of Planning Office include but are not limited to the following areas:
Provide support in
- Strategy development & planning
- Maintaining & updating Strategic Plan
- Monitoring organisational effectiveness
- Informing policy & environmental changes
- Devise & achieve Annual Operational Plans
- Input & monitor Risk Registers
- Academic planning
- Admission and enrolment
- Timetabling
- Up-to-date benchmarking data
- Admission quota changes
- Principles for changes
