The Quality Assurance Office plays a key role in supporting the development of the University's strategic goals towards quality education and effective implementation of a robust quality assurance (QA) system that fosters continuous improvement and enhancement. The Office reports to the Vice President (Academic and Quality Assurance) and Associate Vice President (Quality Assurance) and is headed by an Associate Director.
The Office works closely with the schools and relevant stakeholders in the conduct of accreditation exercises and other relevant QA functions at programme levels. The Office also collaborates in close coordination with other academic support units such as the Centre for Excellence and the Registry in data collection and analysis to inform decisions in programme planning, development, monitoring and review; and in formulation of QA practices that fit for purposes of the Institute.
