Biography
Ms. Vanessa CHEUNG is a Psychology Lecturer at the Felizberta Lo Padilla Tong School of Social Sciences. Before joining SFU, she was a researcher in the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Hong Kong. She is currently a PhD Candidate in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (SWSA) at the University of Hong Kong. Ms. CHEUNG has extensive experience in conducting both quantitative and qualitative research studies and is particularly dedicated to research related to the sociology of health and psychology, specifically focusing on deconstructing the reproduction and transformation of social capital in the caregiver-patient relationship within the context of schizophrenia.
