International College of Hotel Management (ICHM) representatives Ms Sue OH and Mr Joey WANG visited the Rita Tong Liu School of Business and Hospitality Management and Department of Business and Hospitality Management on 21 July 2023. Welcomed by the Dean Prof Susana YUEN and other faculty members, they took a campus tour and were impressed with the facilities and equipment available at CIHE and CBCC, including the Simulation Front Desk, Simulation Guest Room, Training Restaurant, and Kitchen.
The two institutes signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in February 2023 under which CIHE and CBCC graduates could transfer their credits and articulate to ICHM programmes. Details were discussed for admitting graduates of the HDHM at CBCC to senior years of the Bachelor of Business (Hospitality Management) programme at ICHM. They will complete the designated courses in two semesters and internship under Work Integrated Learning in Australia to obtain the degree. For graduates of the BBA programme at CIHE, they can further their studies in Australia by taking the Master of International Hotel Management programme offered by ICHM.
