Rita Tong Liu School of Business and Hospitality Management's Assistant Professor, Dr. Michael T.H. Lai, recently presented at the 2024 APacCHRIE Conference held at Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea from 24 to 26 May.
Dr. Lai's presentation focused on factors affecting residents' behavioral intention towards tourism development in Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS), using the case of Kunisaki Peninsula Usa Area, Japan. The findings support that both the perceived positive impacts of tourism and residents' affective elements have significant effects on residents' support.
Congratulations to Dr. Michael T.H. Lai for his valuable contribution to the field of tourism and agricultural heritage management!
