Leo obtained his Master of Science in Sports Medicine & Health Science from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Bacehlor of Science (Honours) in Physiotherapy with first class honour from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is a registered Physiotherapist in Hong Kong.
Leo worked in both public and private settings. He worked in intensive-care-unit, medicine-and-geriatircs, neuro-rehabilitation, vestibular-rehabilitation, orthopaedics, sports-specialized out-patient teams. He provided on-field support for a number of sports teams, for instance soccer, korfball, and rugby.
For professional musculoskeletal-related trainings, Leo obtained a diploma in Modern Acupuncture, from Modern Acupuncture & Spine Institute. He also received official training in McKenzie, Clinical Pilates, Orthotic Therapy, Kinesio-Taping, and Brian Mulligan's Concepts.

Before joining the Caritas Institue of Higher Education, Leo was the supervisor of Student-Run Wellness Clinic at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He was involved in supervising physiotherapy students in leading primary healthcare programs and on-field physiotherapy events. Previously working in Hospital Authority, he was also involved in training of supporting staff.
Leo's research interest is in the areas of sports injury prevention, fascial chain and holistic approach of pain or sports injury management.
