I am pharmacist graduated with BSc in Pharmacy in Liverpool John Moores University in 1994. I obtained my MSc in Clinical Pharmacy awarded by Sunderland University in 2016.
I have been a registered pharmacist in UK and Hong Kong since 1995 and 1996 respectively. I have experience as a Community Pharmacist (Pharmacy Manager) as well as hospital pharmacist in UK (Rotational Pharmacist and Clinical Support Pharmacist) for over 10 years.
In 2012, I returned from UK to Hong Kong working as a pharmacy manager in community pharmacy. In 2013, I started my academic career at Institute of Vacational Education in Hong Kong as a lecturer. During 9 years into teaching, I have taught in various programmes including Higher Diploma in in Health Studies, Higher Diploma in Biomedical Science, Higher Diploma in Healthcare Studies and Management, and Higher Diploma in Dispensing Studies. I taught in subjects such as Introduction to Dispensing Principles and Practices, Disease and Therapy, Patient counselling and Education, Basic Pharmacology and Drug Therapeutics. In addition to my teaching role at the institute, I also participated in training programme in Drug Therapeutics for Dispensers in Hospital Authority (2016,2017 and 2021).
In September 2022, I joined the Department / School of Health Sciences of the Caritas Bianchi College of Careers and Caritas Institute of Higher Education as senior lecturer to teach in programmes including Higher Diploma in Pharmaceutical Dispensing program and Higher Diploma in Health Care. The subjects I teach include Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Dispensing Practice, and Basic Pharmacology.
