Biography
Eric LAW joined the Hong Kong public hospital service as a Physiotherapist once graduated in 1981 at Hong Kong Polytechnic. Throughout the past 40 years, he has gained extensive clinical and management experience ranging from acute, convalescent, rehabilitation physiotherapy services in both inpatient, outpatient and community settings. Being the chairperson of the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine Specialty Group of Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association since Year 2000, he is actively leading and promoting the integration of acupuncture, Qigong and other therapeutic exercise such as Yoga and Taichi in the physiotherapy practice. Having practised Taichi and Qigong for more than 20 years, he developed a set of therapeutic exercise named ' Physiotherapy Taichi Xiao Jin Zhong stretching exercise'. It is used for rehabilitation of different type of patients with musculoskeletal, neurological problems and chronic pain. It is also shared among physiotherapists and student physiotherapists with good clinical response.
