Having previously served as a clinical nurse specializing in community nursing in Hong Kong, Professor Cheng embarked on her teaching career in 2008. She has assumed various senior positions in higher education, including School Principal of Caritas Medical Centre, Head of Department of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Tung Wah College, and Associate Dean of School of Nursing at Tung Wah College. Professor Cheng's research interests include stress reduction, gerontology, and nursing education.
