Biography
Possessing valuable experience and expertise in translation, Mr Billy Chow is determined to devote himself to educating the youth. After taking his Bachelor's degree in Translation at Lingnan University and receiving a Master's degree of Arts in Language Studies with specialization in Translation and Interpretation from the City University of Hong Kong, it laid the foundation of his professional knowledge and vigorous passion in translation.
Prior to joining the Caritas Institute of Higher Education as a lecturer in Ip Ying To Lee Yu Yee School of Humanities and Languages, Mr Chow taught Chinese and English for different age groups students with tailor-made teaching methods. In addition, his expertise in practical translation has been underpinned since he has been engaging in various fields of translation for years, ranging from business documents, games, legal documents, film subtitles, advertisements to corporate websites.
With the edge of both knowledge and experience gaining from universities and workplace, Mr Chow helps to broaden students' horizons for better preparation for their next stage of life.
