The appointee will be responsible for teaching at sub-degree, undergraduate, and/ or postgraduate levels in more than one subject area in addition to undertaking scholarly/ research activities and/ or programme/ course administration.

For Assistant Professor, applicants should have (a) a PhD or other recognised doctoral degree in a relevant discipline; and (b) relevant teaching/ professional experience. Preference will be given to those who have a good record in teaching undergraduate and/ or postgraduate programmes, experience in programme management and accreditation, and proven research record. Relevant professional qualification is required for teaching Accountancy and Corporate Governance related courses. Applicants may be considered for the rank of Associate Professor or above depending on research record, experience, and qualifications.

For Senior Lecturer, a Master's degree and professional membership in Hong Kong or overseas will be considered as appropriate for the particular disciplines.

A good command of English is required and proficiency in Chinese is preferable.

Applicants should have an earned and recognised Master's degree in relevant disciplines.  Preference will be given to those with Doctoral degree and teaching experience in degree / higher diploma programmes.  A good command of English and Chinese is required.

3. The appointee will take up academic and administrative duties such as maintenance of quality academic standards, liaison with the professional bodies and other educational institutions concerning the study programmes offered, act as student advisor and supervisor to groups as well as individual students, activate inter-departmental and inter-institutional collaboration and networking, allocation/ requisition of resource and collection of students' feedback/ suggestions on the study programmes, etc.

The appointee will be responsible for teaching at the degree and/ or sub-degree levels in related areas.

Applicants should have (i) an earned and recognised Doctoral degree in relevant disciplines (Master's degree holders will be considered for the post at Lecturer grade); and (ii) relevant teaching/ professional experience.  Preference will be given to those with experience in curriculum design, programme development and management. The appointee will be responsible for (a) teaching at degree and/or sub-degree levels in social work and criminology; (b) initiating, leading and participating in planning of academic programmes and research activities; (c) undertaking academic administration duties; and (d) performing any other duties as assigned by the Dean and Provost.

Applicants should have (a) a doctoral degree with strong academic and professional qualifications in Criminology and/or Social Work; (b) at least 10 years of full time experiences in relevant areas; (c) demonstrated academic leadership through planning of academic programmes, research, awards of research grants, scholarship and/or high level of consultancy in respective areas; and (d) a track record of publication in internationally recognised journals in related areas. Professional registration in Hong Kong or overseas is required as appropriate for the particular profession.

The appointee will be responsible for teaching at the sub-degree/diploma/certificate levels in the following areas:

•  Hotel Operations
• Catering Service
• Customer Service

• Bachelor's degree or above qualification
• Good command of Cantonese and English
• Punctual and responsible
• With relevant work experience is preferable
• Fulfilling the requirements of Sexual Conviction Record Check and National Security Law Test is preferable

The appointee will be responsible (i) to co-ordinate fieldwork placement; (ii) to liaise with agency for fieldwork places; (iii) to convene fieldwork co-ordination other related meetings; and (iv) to perform teaching and related duties.  

Applicants should possess (i) a recognized degree or above in social work disciplines; (ii) recognized social work qualifications; (iii) 5 years post-degree relevant professional practice experience; and (iv) have good communication and interpersonal skills.

The appointee will be responsible (i) to supervise social work students in their fieldwork placement; (ii) to mark and assess student assignments, prepare supervision records and related documents; and (iii) to attend fieldwork supervisors' meetings.
