Dr Andrew Low Yiu Tsang

背景簡介

羅博士是社會科學院的副教授。在加入聖方濟各大學之前，他是香港城市大學（城大）的助理教授。在 2010 年投身社會工作教育之前，羅博士曾在香港多個不同機構擔任註冊社工 17 年，包括學校社會工作、熱線輔導服務、兒童及青少年中心服務和綜合兒童和青少年中心的中心負責人。他還擔任了四年的私人執業社工，主要在香港多所中小學提供家長教育、領袖培訓計劃等。他還為社區提供家庭治療、婚姻諮詢和個人諮詢。

教學

在城市大學曾任教社工碩士及學士課程，包括：學校社會工作、小組工作、社會工作評估及研究，社會工作反思、香港社會福利服務、管理及督導課，親職教育課程，亦同時督博士研究生。羅博士亦為實習課程統籌及社工海外交流統籌。

研究

羅博士的主要研究興趣是評估預防性介入服務。這包括減少親子衝突的家長教育計劃、親子衝突及其對青少年發展的影響、校本預防自殺計劃、校本積極青少年發展計劃等領域。在政策層面，他目前正在評估"學前機構社會工作服務試點"，已經影響了政府在22/23年財政年度將該服務規範化的政策。他還完成了一項關於社會運動中親子衝突的程度和性質的研究。他已經完成了諸如評估青少年和兒童在學校環境中的認知行為計劃以減少他們的焦慮問題的研究；以學校為基礎的育兒計劃，以減少父母與青少年的衝突；校本預防自殺計劃的有效性等。目前他正與非政府組織合作，研究學前兒童"遊戲療法"的有效性，以減少遭受家庭暴力或虐待兒童後對兒童發展的負面影響。
