駱博士在香港大學修讀社會工作時對教育政策產生了濃厚的興趣,並立志透過教育的媒介提升社會整體的生活質素。為此,她先後在英國的約克大學及劍橋大學修畢碩士,哲學碩士及哲學博士課程,藉此對語言教育的理論和教學實踐的認識奠定了基礎。畢業後,她曾於多間大專院校擔任客席講師工作,當中包括香港理工大學,倫敦大學學院以及香港樹仁大學。駱博士現為劍橋大學海外基金會會員及克萊爾學堂(Clare Hall)的永久會員。她的學術著作範圍包括語言教育政策,批判性思考及高等教育教學發展。
她特別享受與學生在課堂內外的互動和交流。深信藉著互動的教學及有啟發性的討論,能為專上學生提供優質的語言及人文教育,培養他們正面的態度面對學習和生命。
