Media Coverage on SFU and CBCC received more than 30,000 applications and 9000 people applied for Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) programme

The results of the 2025 HKDSE was released on 16 July. As of 3pm on the same day, Saint Francis University (SFU) and Caritas Bianchi College of Careers (CBCC) have received more than 30,000 applications for admission to Undergraduate, Sub-degree and Diploma programmes, representing a year-on-year increase of 7%, and the Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) programme (JUPAS Code: JSSA01) has received about 9,000 applications, with about 13 applicants competing for one place.

Dr Kat LEUNG, Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary of SFU, said the most popular programme areas include nursing, physiotherapy, social work and artificial intelligence, while the new programme Bachelor of Crime and Security Science (Honours) launched this year has also received good response. Dr LEUNG also pointed out that professional qualifications can be obtained through studying SFU's Higher Diploma programmes, and the career prospect is comparable with Undergraduate programmes. Moreover, SFU offers a flexible '2+2' articulation pathway, upon completion of two-year Higher Diploma studies, students are able to enter Year 3 of an Undergraduate programme, or start working and study a Part-time Undergraduate programme afterwards.
