Creating Adaptive Learning Environments in Higher Education

To raise the awareness of catering the learning needs of students in tertiary education,  and promote inclusive culture, the Unit for Learning Achievement of Student Affairs Office had held a Symposium on "Engage and Empower: Creating Adaptive Learning Environments in Higher Education" on 23 August, 2024.

"Mental Health" has increasingly become a popular topic among the public, who always have a deep bias and misconceptions towards mental illnesses.  To promote inclusive education and enhance people's understanding towards mental health. The Unit for Learning Achievement of the Student Affairs Office cooperates with the Castle Peak Hospital in organizing a visit to the interactive exhibition - "Mind Space."
SEN Symposium
22 March 2024

The 2023-2024 SEN symposium, which aims to promote inclusive education by providing valuable information on special education needs and related fields. Hosted by our in-house Educational Psychologist, the symposium will feature guest speakers from various specialties. The event will be conducted in dual mode, with both face-to-face and Zoom options available, and is open to all staff and students. This is a unique opportunity for all individuals to gain valuable insights and expand their knowledge on special education needs.

HealHorizon Project

This project is supported by The Community Chest Medical Assistance Fund. It is aimed to offer financial assistance to adolescents who are suspected to suffer from emotional or mental health issues and let them obtain counselling and medical service at early stage.

Soar 2 Light Project

Soar 2 Light project provide emergency financial assistance to youth who are in need of psychiatric or psychological treatment service. This emergency fund can be applied all year round, and the amount of assistance will depend on the condition of individual applicant.
