Empowering Future Entrepreneurs at Saint Francis University

On 15 January 2025, Dr Ken Ip, Assistant Professor at the Rita Tong Liu School of Business and Hospitality Management, delivered an engaging two-hour workshop during the Cyberport University Partnership Programme (CUPP) 2025 Info Session and Networking Event.

With attendees ranging from MBA students to PhD candidates, Dr Ip shared valuable insights on designing a successful business, covering key trends in AI, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, and Web3. The workshop provided participants with practical strategies and a deep dive into startup fundamentals, helping them turn innovative ideas into viable ventures.

Since 2015, CUPP has been a cornerstone in nurturing young FinTech talents in Hong Kong. Its comprehensive approach—combining boot camps, mentorship, and competitions—continues to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.
